Nelson is hosting the NZ Pain Society Annual Scientific meeting, at The Rutherford Hotel, from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th March 2017.
A half-day primary care forum is being held on Saturday 4 March.
The forum will aim to tackle the challenges that primary care providers face when managing chronic pain patients. The latest research on Central Sensitization, Pain Mechanisms and Management in Osteoarthritis and Chronic Postsurgical Pain after Knee Replacement will be discussed. A selection of brief workshops and panel discussions will prove to be engaging and practical.
The NZ Pain Society Annual Scientific Meeting has been endorsed by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and has been approved for up to 15.50 credits CME for the General Practice Educational Programme (GPEP) and Maintenance of Professional Standards (MOPS) purposes.
