The learning of the day will provide you with the opportunity to:

·        Improve early  identification of the deteriorating person

·        Develop critical assessment skills based on patient scenarios

·        Apply assessment frameworks (eg. ABCDE, EWS, GCS,)

·        Improve interdisciplinary communication  (ISBAR framework)

·        Escalate care in a timely manner

This professional development study day is a core requirement every 3 years.

Exemptions: Basics, Advanced Assessment Courses completed in past 3 years.

There is an expectation of pre and post learning.
