Facilitated by: Pat Neuwelt, Honorary Academic, Health Systems, School of Population Health, University of Auckland
In this interactive workshop, you will join your peers in playing a ‘Snakes and Ladders game with a difference’. The game is based on key findings from a recently completed New Zealand study of general practice reception processes, funded by the Health Research Council of New Zealand. The emphasis of the study was on understanding the ways that reception processes, at the point of entry to the health system, pose barriers to access for people who experience social marginalization.
There will be an emphasis on small group discussion. Plan for an enjoyable and informative workshop!
This workshop is option to Practice and Pharmacy Teams.
