WINZ Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Grant

• All women on WINZ benefits such as jobseeker, sole parent, youth payment or young parent payment can get long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) free.
• The LARC options include: Jadelle implant, IUCD copper, IUCD progrestogen (Mirena/Jaydess) and Depo provera injections.
• Women on low incomes, with CSC but not on benefit may miss out, but the GP can apply to WINZ for help on a case-by-case basis and are often successful.
