The Joint Programme is a service designed for those who want to learn how to manage their osteoarthritis better.

This one-off, 3-hour session delivers easy-to-understand information on a variety of topics that will increase your confidence so you feel empowered to take control.

The session includes:

  • Understanding the role of nutrition and osteoarthritis.

  • Practical ways to remain active and why this may be important.

  • Learning how your pain relief medication works and why it's prescribed.


The service is delivered by experienced staff who are peer-supported by the Rheumatology Nurse Specialist and the Persistent Pain Service.


The session is totally free of charge but bookings are essential.
