A new thought-provoking course teaches how to identify child abuse, neglect and vulnerability and what to do about it.
Who’s it for?
Everyone, particularly people who work with tamariki/children and whanau/ families as a professional or a volunteer.
eLearning contents:
- Child protection overview and barriers to addressing child abuse, neglect and vulnerability;
- Child abuse & neglect, vulnerability, cyber safety/internet abuse;
- Responding, referring, reporting and sharing information;
- Understanding The Vulnerable Children’s Act, CYP&F Act and Privacy Act.

There are five modules that take up to two hours to complete. On completion participants are offered a free certificate to evidence their continuing professional development.
