NBPH Wins Workforce Innovation Award

Highly Commended Winners

NBPH's Mental Health service, along with Nelson Marlborough Addictions service, are the Highly Commended Winners for Matua Raki's 2016 Workforce Innovation Award.

The Matua Raki Workforce Innovation Award seeks to showcase innovations in work practices that contribute to improving workplace wellbeing and staff engagement. They focus attention on addiction treatment organisations and services engaged in best workforce practices.

The 2016 winners were announced by Dr Vanessa Caldwell at the Oscarz Awards dinner at the Cutting Edge Conference in Rotorua. Vanessa said that there had been a record number of entries this year and the standard was very high.

NBPH successfully collaborated with NMDHB to redesign the Youth AoD service to accommodate youth in the most appropriate and best possible way and to ensure the two separate organisations supported each other.
