Payroll/HR Administrator - Part Time, Richmond Based

Nelson Bays Primary Health (NBPH) is the Primary Health Organisation for the Nelson Tasman region. PHOs lead and coordinate primary health care within the local community.

Payroll/HR Administrator

  Part time: 52.5 hours per fortnight

The PCNL will have a key leadership role within a multidisciplinary team within  Primary Care and Community/District.

Golden Bay Community Health includes a wide range of primary, secondary and community care including 24 hospital and rest home level residential care beds and 5 acute/flexi-beds.

We are looking for dynamic Registered Nurses to join our amazing team within the aged care and acute admissions area. We are looking to fill these roles with permanent FTE of 1.2 (96 hours per fortnight) and there is also fixed term FTE of 0.3 (24 hours per fortnight) until March 2020.

Permanent General Practitioner with Teaching role in Rural General Practice

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a special interest in teaching to join our team at Golden Bay Community Health.   

This is a permanent post of 24-32 hours per week (flexible) with additional on call.

The on call component covers after hours Mon-Fri and weekends and is a 1:7 roster.

As an integrated healthcare facility, GP sessions are interspersed with management of acute presentations and we offer arrange of services on site including x ray and simple fracture management, thrombolysis, IV treatments.  Additionally, we have five acute beds, providing acute, hospice, and respite care for our community.

 The post also includes on-call responsibilities designed to maintain 24-7 medical cover for the community (approx. 1 in 7) - rural ACC and PRIME contracts apply.

 Additionally, there will be appropriate time allocated for taking the lead in teaching medical students, house surgeons and GP registrars.

The successful applicant will be employed by Nelson Bays PHO and salaried according to experience. This includes 6 weeks annual leave; 2 weeks study leave and a generous educational allowance.

We require:

 24-32 hours (0.6-0.8 FTE)

1 in 7 on call - week nights and weekends 

PRIME trained & current Level 7 ACLS.

Teaching interest/experience

Fellowship with RNZCGP or equivalent, or on the pathway towards Fellowship

 We prefer:

Rural experience, although a thorough orientation will be provided.
