Medical Officer
The Medical and Injury Centre is an accredited Urgent Care Clinic near the city centre. Our team comprises of Urgent Care and General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and a highly skilled team of receptionists. The centre is open 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week.
We are currently recruiting for the role of:
MEDICAL OFFICER – 0.5 FTE TO 1.0 FTE (flexible to negotiate hours for the right candidate)
Workdays and hours rostered, variable to enable cover of MIC operating hours of 8am – 10pm, Monday to Sunday
We are seeking an experienced Medical Officer to join the Medical and Injury Centre Team. This position will play a pivotal role in providing competent patient centred and culturally appropriate care that addresses individual and whanau health needs.
About you:
Ideally Royal NZ College of Urgent Care fellow, however applications from GP with special interest in Urgent Care also welcomed.
Possess exceptional communication skills to interface with all stakeholders, management and clinical delivery teams.
Ability to work well under pressure.
We also to invite expressions of interest from similarly suitably qualified contractors who wish to explore working with the MIC team in a Medical Officer role.
