Practice Medical Receptionist - Hauora Health: Two positions available - 25.5 and 30.5 hours per week

About the Practice 
Hauora Health Centre is a busy, vibrant and modern general practice in Nelson's city centre.  We are part of the Collingwood Centre which was designed as a health hub building.  Hauora Health Centre has a great outlook with modern facilities and a management that values staff and their desire for a comfortable and friendly environment.  We are primarily, a team and one that strives for excellence in patient care and the nurturing of our staff.  

About the role 
Our medical receptionists are a vital part of how the patient views Hauora Health Centre, as they are usually the first and last person the patient sees.  Excellent communication and observational skills are imperative as the admin team are the front line for the practice at the front desk and answering patient calls. Medical receptionists need to maintain compassionate and be courteous whilst interacting and responding to patient queries via email, phone and in face-to-face conversations at the reception desk. Further details of the role can be found in the role description.

 Skills and experience 
* Our ideal candidate would be someone: 
* Previous Experience in general practice medical reception, customer service or administration preferred
* Enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, dynamic, flexible and a quick learner 
* Happy with a team environment and ready to muck in 
* Great attention to detail 
* Interest in primary care and health 
* Terrific communication and interpersonal skills  
* Good time management and comfortable with self-directed workflow 
* Flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness  

Hours
Position 1) 25.5 hours per week: Tuesday 8.30-5.30, Thursday 8.30-5.30, Friday 8.30-5.30
Position 2) 30.5 hours per week: Monday 8.30-5.30, Wednesday 10am -3pm, Thursday 8.30-5.30, Friday 8.30-5.30
