I am Trustee member on Ngai Tutepourangi Trust including a member of the Ngāti Kuia – He Maunga Pakohe Rautaki Hauora Strategy Group. I currently work for Whakatū Marae as the Facility Manager where I have been for the last 12 years including running the Waitangi Day International Kai festival annually.

I have been a Quit Advisor/Team Leader for the Quitline, a Health Promoter then the Health Manager before the transition of contracts changed. I have always been interested in health by supporting whanau in self- managing his or her own wellness. To question what you do not understand but importantly learn from it.

My other interests outside of work and Iwi activities are arts & crafts, making poi, broaches and looking after my nieces and nephew.

I find this role as one of the Māori Representatives reconnecting with the wider health sector exciting, full of hope and look forward to listening, learning, working with this group.
