The Health Consumer Advisory Group has an overarching role to promote consumer, whānau and community involvement in the planning, co-design, and delivery of Nelson Bays Primary Health services.

The Health Consumer Advisory Group works in partnership with consumers, whānau and communities to ensure they are heard by Nelson Bays Primary Health, and that consumers have a strong and viable voice in planning, co-designing, and delivering health services across Nelson Bays, health services that are people centred and responsive to the needs of all communities.

Through promoting equity, quality and safety, shared leadership, and community engagement, the Health Consumer Advisory Group works with Nelson Bays Primary Health to create quality improvements to service provision for consumer experience, patient safety, and health literacy.

The Health Consumer Advisory Group is not the forum for complaints to be discussed.
